According to Anec’s forecast, corn exports from Brazil in June will reach 1.66 million tons (493,400 in May and 1.51 million tons in June 2022).

– In 2022/23, the rapeseed production in Ukraine is at a record high level according to APC – Inform. The production was 3.4 million tons (+26% compared to 2021/22). Rapeseed production of 3.4 million tons is expected in 2023/24.

– Refinitiv Commodities Research has lowered its forecast for the EU soft wheat production in 2023/24 by 0.8 million tons to 130.4 million tons (125.7 in 2022/23). The durum wheat production is projected at 7.6 million tons (-0.2 and +0.5).

– Chicago commodity funds were net buyers of 2,000 soybean contracts and net sellers of 7,500 corn and 6,000 wheat contracts yesterday.

– According to Anec’s forecast, corn exports from Brazil in June will reach 1.66 million tons (493,400 in May and 1.51 million tons in June 2022). In the first five months of 2023, the export of corn was 8.03 million tons (4.88), with the main customers being Japan with a share of 21%, Vietnam with a share of 10%, Iran, China and South Korea with a share of 8% each.

– On 06/09/2023, Tunisia will hold a tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin and delivery within July-August.
