According to Abiove’s forecast, soybean exports from Brazil in 2022/23 will be 95.7 million tons (+2 compared to the previous estimate and +17 compared to 2021/22).
– SovEcon raised their forecast for the 2023/24 wheat production in Russia by 1.2 million tons to 88 million tons, including winter wheat production of 63.9 million tons and spring wheat production of 24.1 million tons.

From the beginning of 2023, the processing of oil crops reaches 13.16 million tons, including 4.66 million tons of soybeans, 6.55 million tons of rapeseed and 1.96 million tons of sunseed.
– In the first 8 months of 2022/23, Italy bought 1.09 million tons of durum from Canada, which is four times more than the previous year. According to Arete’s forecast, the durum wheat production in the EU will be 7.5 million tons in 2023/24, with imports of 2.1 million tons.

In the first 4 months of 2023, deliveries from Brazil were 9.21 million tons (-28%). In April, deliveries from the United States were 1.82 million tons (+11%), and since the beginning of the year they totalled 18.24 million tons (15).
